Xabier IBARMIA TECHnICAL DIRECTOR Iñaki MURUA nEW DEVELOPMEnT EnGInEERInG MAnAGER INNOVADORES POR TRADICIóN Tengo el honor de llevar el apellido familiar que da nombre a la empresa que hace ya casi 60 años fundaron mi abuelo, mi padre José y mi tío Enrique, y la responsabilidad, desde la dirección técnica, de no traicionar los principios fundacionales: observar la Calidad en primer lugar. Aquel taller familiar que se inicio con la fabricación de taladros de columna hoy es una realidad empresarial con presencia a lo largo y ancho de todo el mundo. La evolución tecnológica ha sido incesante a lo largo de estos años intentando estar en el pelotón de cabeza y no en el grupo perseguidor. A finales de los 70 fue la incorporación de mesas de control numérico a los taladros de columna. En la década de los 80 se lanzó el primer centro de mecanizado de mesa fija y columna móvil. La decáda de los 90 fue la de la ampliación de la gama con la incorporación de mayores recorridos longitudinales y transversales y la incorporación del cono 50. Con la entrada en el nuevo siglo incorporamos los cabezales giratorios y gracias a la modularidad y flexibilidad de nuestros diseños, fuimos capaces de dar respuesta al nicho de las piezas circulares. La innovación se instaló en IBARMIA, y hoy subyace en toda nuestra actividad. Es un proceso continuo, que nos permite presentarnos en la EMO con dos líneas de máquinas absolutamente nuevas: La Serie T de centros horizontales o con cabezal universal para trabajar sobre mesas rototraslantes con o sin cambio automático de pallet. La Serie L de centros de torneado vertical de gran capacidad de arranque con doble barrón y travesaño fijo para aplicaciones de piezas circulares, principalmente bridas y anillos de rodamientos. La reiterada confianza de nuestros clientes, con un elevadísimo nivel de repetición de compra, nos motiva en nuestra actividad y confirma la calidad de nuestro trabajo. During the current climate of crisis in the industry in general and more specifically in the machine tool industry, IBARMIA has put a strong bet on research, development and innovation creating a new department focused exclusively on these objectives. Pro action versus sitting back as way to beat the crisis. IBARMIA, following its logo “Innovation by tradition” has made a great effort in the last years to create an engineering department focused exclusively in technological surveillance and continuous development of the products. This strong bet is reflected in the formation of a human team of engineers and qualified technicians that form the department called Engineering of new Developments (EnD) within the department of Engineering of IBARMIA InnOVATEK. This area of Engineering is supported by two other areas: EDP: Engineering of Design and Production EEE: Electric and Electronic Engineering. END has been created with two main objectives: -Pro-action in the development and integration of all the technologies and technical knowledge required to market machines with the highest precision and productivity features. We want to be the reference point for our clients, sensitive to the market demands as a way to stay competitive in the current environment. -To boost RDI optimizing the position of our products in market niches. We want to make the IBARMIA logo true, your machine tool point and provide our clients the best machining solutions in the world of flanges and bearings. This way, our bet is a bet on quality and guarantee. A bet on the wining horse. We are please to present at the show the following results of the work of these years: -The integration of turning operations in a drilling centre of gantry construction. We are presenting a high material removal capacity turning head at the EMO. -new architecture of palletized machine for cubic shaped pieces.
