IBARMIA and MODIG to Exhibit Jointly at EMO Hannover 2025
IBARMIA is proud to announce its first-ever joint participation with MODIG at EMO Hannover 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for manufacturing technology. The event will take place from September 22 to 26 in Hannover, Germany.
Under the theme “Celebrating Over 150 Years of Combined Expertise,” this collaboration brings together two family-owned, innovation-driven companies with deep roots in the evolution of precision machining.
A Legacy That Drives Innovation
Founded in 1953 in the Basque Country, IBARMIA has grown from a local manufacturer of drilling machines into a global reference in high-precision, multi-process machining centers. Today, the company continues to deliver customized, flexible solutions to leading sectors like aerospace, energy, and industrial manufacturing—remaining proudly independent and led by the third generation of the founding family.
Our partner in this milestone initiative, MODIG, was founded in 1947 in Sweden and is globally recognized for its high-speed machining and automation capabilities. Together, our companies represent a shared legacy of engineering excellence and a commitment to smarter, more sustainable production.
