IBARMIA Shines at AMB 2024

Stuttgart, September 2024 – IBARMIA concluded a highly successful showing at AMB 2024, one of the premier exhibitions for metalworking technology. From September 10-14, IBARMIA showcased cutting-edge solutions, including the ZVH 58 / L4000 EXTREME Gen 6 and THC 16 MULTIPROCESS Gen 2, which attracted significant attention from industry professionals.

The exhibition's highlight was the sale of the THC 16 Multiprocess machine directly from the booth to Barth, a long-term German customer. This marks Barth’s third IBARMIA machine, solidifying a strong partnership and showcasing the market’s growing demand for IBARMIA’s innovative technology.

Live demonstrations at the IBARMIA and Nagel booths offered attendees hands-on experiences, illustrating the advanced precision and efficiency of IBARMIA’s machining solutions. These demos helped attract potential clients and allowed IBARMIA to strengthen its position as a leader in the industry.

But AMB 2024 also highlighted a deep-rooted partnership that goes back decades. At Nagel Werkzeugmaschinen’s 75th anniversary celebration, Steffen Nagel, CEO of Nagel, honored Koldo Arandia, CEO of IBARMIA, for the company's incredible evolution over the years.

The Origins of a Strong Collaboration

IBARMIA began as a drill manufacturer, with Nagel purchasing those drills and rebranding them for sale in Germany. Recognizing IBARMIA's potential, Nagel suggested the company venture into producing 5-axis moving column machining centers. IBARMIA embraced the idea, leading to Nagel purchasing the first, second, and fifth machines produced under this new direction. This milestone marked a pivotal moment for IBARMIA, transforming the company into a high end machining solutions manufacturer.

Stephen Nagel’s tribute recognized IBARMIA’s remarkable journey, from drill producer to a cutting-edge manufacturer of advanced machining centers, thanking them for their long-standing partnership.
